What Makes a Great CWL Base in Clash of Clans?
Clan War League bases have one job: deny the 3-star. Unlike regular war where a 2-star hold is a win, CWL scoring rewards clans that hold strong defenses across all seven days of the season. A great CWL base makes it extremely difficult for even skilled attackers to 3-star you, keeping your clan's star total competitive.
The best CWL bases share common traits: a well-protected Town Hall deep in the layout, Eagle Artillery placed in a secondary compartment away from the core, and traps positioned at the most likely entry points for the current meta attack strategies. CWL bases are typically tighter and more defensively optimised than regular war bases.
